Privacy Policy

Blerg AI LLC ("we"), a Texas limited liability company, operates Cratewise. This policy explains what we collect and why. Cratewise is available internationally; we handle personal data in line with applicable laws including the GDPR where relevant.

What we collect. Account details (email, name); your collection data (the records you add, notes, listening activity); and standard technical/usage data (device, log, and analytics information) to operate and improve the service.

Payment data. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. We don't store your full card details; Paddle processes payment information under its own privacy policy.

How we use data. To provide the service, process subscriptions (via Paddle), communicate with you, and improve accuracy and features.

Sharing. We don't sell your data. Your collection is private by default; it's shown publicly only if you opt in to a public profile. Where required by law, we may also share data with relevant authorities.

Third-party service providers. We share your data only with the providers below, and only for the purposes listed. This list is also maintained on its own page at cratewise.app/subprocessors, kept current independent of this policy.

Anthropic (Claude). Cover images and text you submit, for AI-based record identification and generating artist/album descriptions.

Google. Your email, name, and Google account ID, for sign-in only, if you use "Sign in with Google."

Paddle. Billing details, subscription status, and transaction records. Paddle is the merchant of record for your purchase and handles billing on our behalf.

Resend. Your email address, for sending invite, waitlist, and product-update emails.

Cloudflare (R2). Cover art images you upload, for file storage.

Railway (Postgres). Your account and collection data. Railway hosts our primary database.

Sentry. Error reports, which include your account ID. We tag errors with your account ID deliberately, so we can investigate account-specific issues — not incidentally.

Catalog lookups. Discogs and Apple Music / iTunes receive search terms (artist, title, catalog number) to look up release, album, and track metadata — never your personal data. MusicBrainz data is used to build our own offline catalog database; we don't send it any of your data or search queries.

International data transfers. Some of the providers above are located, or process data, outside your country — including in the United States. Where we or our providers transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, to protect your data to the same standard required under GDPR.

Your rights. You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — email [email protected]. Deleting your account removes your collection data.

Retention. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request or after account closure, subject to legal obligations.
